SECOND MAJOR STORM IN A WEEK PUMMELS PROGRESS
Wednesday, February 10, 2010
-
Once again Central Pennsylvania is hit with a major snowstorm which closed several major roadways in the area including Interstates 81, 83 and 78. The members of Progress remained committed by keeping the Engine, Tower and Squad staffed all day. Progress will remain staffed with in house personnel until Thursday to ensure a quicker response time due to the poor road conditions and heavy drifting of snow.  Please don’t forget to shovel your closest fire hydrant out when opening up your walks and driveway.
